Just bought some of those prophylactics for the door mirrors from Mirrorguard. Anybody got any tips, to make fitting them easier?

I had them on my last motorhome.

    The fit was perfect
If you have a problem contact the firm they should fit without problems..

    Ah yes
Instead of smashing just the mirror casing, these will help you smash the entire mirror assembly and half the door off in one go :thumb:

If you make one part stronger, the next weakest part will break

Yes I had one hit in France the mirror folded in with a load bang.
    But no damage.

IMO they are well worth fitting.

You must use the small rubers that work like shokabsorbers.
What i dont like is they could be stolen they are only held on by being a tight fit. And dobble sided tape.
If I ever used them again i whould put a screw in them.

You can buy them cheaper at the shows.

He is not allowed to sell them vat free for cash:Wink:
