My flyscreen won't retract so I have taken it all apart suspecting the spring to be at fault. There is a spring loaded bar with a flattened end that sits inside the metal tube that the flyscreen wraps around, the problem I have is that I can't seem to torque the spring up against anything. If I hold the spring & turn the bar inside it then then spring is put under tension but when it sits inside the tube there is nothing to tension the spring against, it all just rotates round - any ideas?
