For those of you heading this way sometime and not aware of the market here, then it's well worth slotting it into your trip.
Held every Wednesday and Friday it really is something worth seeing.
Literally hundreds of stalls spread down every narrow street plus the covered market in the centre.
It's busy and bustling with the locals queuing at the stalls - very much a living market - very little tourist tat.
Hardly any tatty clothes stalls, most are food stalls selling an amazing range of interesting items.
If you,'ve not been then the it a try.

Thanks for this. We plan to be in Millau next Tuesday, so worth staying a couple of days for this.

The Aire on the town side was the pits when we visited last year and as said before not free infact really expensive. We backed out and went further south. The one on the other side of the dual carriageway was quite nice when we last stopped there but that was a few years ago. As we live just two hours ,away it is only if the timing is late that we would want to stop there.

Couldn't work out how to pay to get in the town Aire last night. The Germans in front, paid but couldn't get the camping card to open barrier. We decided to drive under the Millau bridge...perfect view of it...and headed to Roquefort. Amazing view, slight sideway slope, but views more than made up for it!
Thank you for tip on market, we will visit, if we can park!!

Lovely place, a few campsites down by the river.
