We are going to need 2 new tyres fitted within the next 2-3000 miles which will fall during a trip to France in May.

The current tyres are Michelin Agilis Camping M+S 225/75 R16 CP 116Q and I want to keep to the same type.

I am happy to have them changed early before we travel but am having difficulty obtaining them locally so wondered if who has any experience of buying tyres in France.

if so, are the prices likely to be comparable with the UK and as they are a French brand would they be more easily obtainable?

I can't comment on your particular tyre but I had to buy some tyres for the 5'er in France a few years ago and paid more than I would have in the UK. Some of this would have been due to the higher VAT in France at the time but now ours is 20% there may not be as much difference. All the places I tried charged for fitting and more for commercial size tyres.

I've used Pneus before for a Vanco tyre on a 15" inch rim and NOBODY could get them. Pretty cheap too.

Here's a link to your tyre size/spec...
