Looking on Preloved there seems to be a number for sale. No dealer name but rather a series of individual names. Is this a scam? Of course it could be a dealer sticking by Preloved rules!

It does sound like what we want but again, long way to go from Preston for a potential scam/dud. Anybody?

Looks OK from here its a private sale? just contact and then you can see how genuine it is....

If i'm advertising on there all you see is my user name "Eddieo". Personal details are hidden until you contact seller?

To help confirm its a private sale, when you ring them say so whiny like
"I'm calling about the Motorhome"
If they reply "which one?" then they are probably a trader

Loads on info and previous posts on here about scams, stolen/cloned vehicles, damp and pitfalls of purchase.

However, if the 'explosion' of Motorhome ownership is anything to go by, genuine sales surely outnumber the bad guys or wonky traders.

Always beware of ridiculous low price or the "I'm a soldier and my brother is selling it for me....." type advert.

Do as many checks as you can (even HPI is not foolproof). Never mind location, location, location, it's research, research, research!! You can always use things like 'FaceTime' to save you a journey (if you/they have that facility).

It looks like a fair price to me - I can only see a couple of mhomes for sale in Worthing when I log on to Preloved.
I would contact the Lady and see what she says. If you wanted someone to give it the once over we are just up the road from Worthing.
