Metal Valve stems (1 Viewer)

Our M/H has the short metal valve stems and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to put the pressure gauge onto them.

Are longer versions available?

you can buy tyre valve extenders.. just Google it

There are lots of approaches to this. As you have metal valve stems, rather than rubber, you won't have to think about securing longer extension so they don't flop about as the wheels go around, so,
on Amazon, search for these typical types
"Weldtite WEL5006 Metal Valve Extension - Metallic" which give you about an inch more;

these "Weldtite Schrader 90 Degree Bend Valve Extension - Gold" which give you a cranked access;

and these "Connect 35084 210mm Michelin Tyre Valve Extension-Flexible Type"which give you much more length to play with but may need securing to the wheel if they are to be a permanent fitting.

There are even longer versions of the last type available and they also can come with a stainless steel braiding enclosing the rubber hose for durability and appearance.
