Hello

I have the opportunity to buy the above van for conversion into a motorhome. It's cheap, with 160k and I'll find out the service history this week. It's a chassis cab with tail lift and has an auto transmission.

Can anyone advise if this might be a suitable base for a conversion project or any other salient points, mechanical or otherwise, that I might need to be aware of to help the decision?

Thanks in advance
Simon

My gut feeling is probably not. Every Luton van I've ever driven has had pathetically thin fibreglass walls, which would need beefing up considerably with insulation etc. to make it suitable.
