Just found that if you create a KML file you can open it in Google Earth and all your names appear next to your icon. :thumb:

OK Gran

1. You need to download Google Earth first, it's free.

2. Open the members map in Google maps, (on the itnternet) use the link ScotJimland gave in a previous post.

3. Top left look for a Blue KLM click and download the file.

4. Return to Google Earth and open the file you have just downloaded. All will then be clear. :thumb::thumb:

One thing to remember this will not update itself as Jim adds more members you will have to download the file again to bring it up to date.

Methinks young JAWS did this on the BIRD forum? don't think it transferred over to the new site though. (it's hardly a new site now of course but it was at the time LOL)

Yep, though the map bit was bombed in the end as it got too crowded !!

Still keep the locations as lists in areas though and you can still click on the area you want to be added in and that will autogenerate a mail to me
