Hi, we are considering getting the Maxview Target 85cm installed. Has anyone any experience of this, both UK and in Europe.

Thanks

Have a Target installed. Generally pleased but occasionally the LNB arm gets stuck as the dish unfolds which is a pain as I have to lean out of a roof vent and pull it down. It's been lubricated and the pivot bolt loosened but it still occurs from time to time. I think it picks up dust or fine grit when out on the road.

Can vouch for the strength of the dish/bracket as it was completely unharmed by a mini tornado in France last year when it was up. The couple on the neighbouring pitch had their roll out awning ripped ou of the side of their vehicle.

We have the Maxview seeker 85cm twin LNB fitted on our caravan and it worked fine in Spain , down at Marjal it locked on to Astra 28 with no difficulty .
No BBC or ITV but as we have SKY we could get most if not all subscription channels plus SKY news plus SKY sports and movies . It worked also fine near Benidorm and at Alcossebre.
There a good enough satellite system and can be easily updated via a USB
