Hiya

Can anyone tell me is this type of motorhome satellite system easy to self install or does an electrician have to do it?

How much to get one of these installed?

many thanks

Since 2005
easy enough to fit if you have the confidence to drill the roof for the cable entry points.

just follow the installation instructions to the letter and you cant go wrong.

You are laughing at that yet I was in a factory one day when a guy cut the fingers off his left hand. This was a bog standard pull over crosscut. He held the wood with his left hand pulled with his right hand. All in view unlike the above cartoon. Nowt so queer as folk.

Its easy Gail, tony wont have a problem doing it. I just removed mine to fit my Camos. I installed it recently as well. There are esentially 3 bits to it.

Drill hole in roof (in to cupboard) to mount the pole. Nice little whole saw does the trick. All the cables run inside of the pole. Then put your dish together. Theres aplate on the top of the pole that grips on to the dish motor. Its tricky and a pain in the ass to marry up but patients is the key.
The control box is mounted where ever you wish. Take a feed from an interior light, if you have a light in the cubpoard use that. I split my wires with use of junction boxes. Then you just run your coaxial cable accross to your TV. Just keep it simple or drill in to cupboards to hide the cable.
Mine took no more than two hours.

try doing a google search as there is a massive article on how to do it.:thumb:
