It's a lot of money, but an extra peace of mind too, and I guess the big question is, can you afford it?

Think I would if I had the cash available, however I've had my fiat 5 years and, apart from the cambelt change and servicing, it's been reliable to run. Had to replace a bolt that sheared, but that was down to a dodgy bolt fitted under serving, so wouldn't come out of a warranty.

Does it cover the clutch wear and tear etc?

Do you also need to buy it now, or can you see how long you keep the van, how it is under the 24 month warranty and then decide at, say, the 18 month point?

If that's the case you may want to think of the warranty as insurance, which, in effect it is - & God forbid something expensive goes bang - you'll be covered ( depending on the T's & C's ) - giving you peace of mind at least

Wear & tear & consumables are rarely, if ever, covered under warranty in my experience
