Hi any one on the Aire at Manta Rota?
As I don't want to travel there if its full, are there any places?

Just a warning kath and Howie,when we were there the Germans were feeding the local stray dogs and they may be a bit of a nuisance to you, they were to us as our dog was in season so we had to beat a hasty retreat

No dogs at all when we were there around 12 December.

Gypsy market at Sao Bartholomu de Messines tomorrow and know that a lot of people staying on the Aire there have moved as the market takes up the space where the MH's park up.

I actually saw a motorhome dog "lover" go to throw a stone at a LOCAL dog here at Silves the other day because he was saying "Hello" to one of her dogs.

She was about to get a mouthful of abuse from me when the Local moved away.

I called the beautiful dog over and gave him some pieces of fresh steak.

He visits me sometimes now...

Note to other funsters last night stopped on the nice new carpark at pedras d'el Rel just before Tavira.
it was last year a uneven bit of waste land, but free of charge.
So at €4 pn my thinking for the investment ok dont mind the fee.
to get out of the barrier in less than 24 hours that I had been there, arrived at 11.03am and left the morning after 9.33am the grand fee of €6.80 so I believe how it works is 6.00am to 6.00am then pra rota the rest.
so its cheaper to go on a full blown aire with all facilities.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

On the upside there was plenty of French that will get stung, as you will not know until you put your ticket in to leave.

There is a sign that says €4 per day,can't remember the exact wording but the way I read it in your case would have been €8. Not that clear though.
