I've just spent the last week or so trying to find a site on the broads and they seem abit thin on the ground. Really fancied Reedham Ferry http://www.reedhamferry.co.uk/ but fully booked (it's for beginning of school hols ). Others had availability but not for our size van.

Finally booked into C&CC Norwich - rubbish reviews for site facilities but looks a good location. Cycle / footpath into Norwich city centre (apprx 1 mile) and the Norfolk broads in opposite direction.

We're taking our tandem for it's first outing :Eeek: hence picking somewhere FLAT :thumb:

We've stayed at the Caravan Club one near Ludham - Link Removed.

Couple of Pubs nearby, by the water and you can hire a boat, and the Bus stops nearby to take you to Wroxham or even Norwich. Usual CC facilities.

Bit about it on our blog.

Cheers

Norwich C&CC site is not the most modern, nor if full enough facilities. When we were there in April it was kept spotlessly clean and the warden did everything to make our stay pleasant. Bus service very close by into Norwich. We would use it again.

Our only problem was the tourist town centre map was drawn by someone more interested in its artistic merit than its ability to guide you.

Thanks for the info, we only need to locate Wetherspoons and it looks like there's 3 of them

we looked at the Dog a while back, it lacks any facilities as such toilets while pub open etc, no electric hook up.

Old Hall Caister takes some beating parking is only on the hotel carpark, but there is hookup, water and CDP disposal etc, free use of some of the spa facilities including the indoor swimming pool, first night free around a fiver per night thereafter,
Just outside Norwich there are Many CL /CS sites, especially around Hevingham/Aylsham area and a couple of nice ones near Bramerton about 3-4 miles out of the City
