Very surprised that the ticket arrived a few minutes ago. By lunchtime we thought we would have to wait until Monday.

We've never had a postal delivery this late in the day, especially on a Saturday. Since they changed the system a couple of months ago it's gone all to pot.

We sometimes get our post at 8am and sometimes at 3pm - but that's been going on for years. Today it was around 12 noon .....

In the (almost) 19 years we lived here the normal postal delivery time has varied (originally about 7am-7:30am, then 10am-11am, then 12am-1pm) but has always been reliable within the time band.

A couple of months ago the Royal Mail changed the system so that instead of having one regular postman - who has always been brilliant - there are supposed to be two with a trolley. It seems, though, that some days there are two people and some days only one and we never seem to see the same person twice running.
