Malaga to Bilbao - Overnight stops (1 Viewer)

Heading from Malaga area to Bilbao in a few weeks time, probably one or most likely two overnight stops. Likely route Granada, Jaen, Madrid, Burgos to Bilbao. Any suggestions for a couple of good overnight stops would be appreciated.

I'll second that and also suggest Toledo though I don't know a campsite there because we stayed in a hotel.

Both places with loads of character.

Burgos worth a visit,,half our walk from site along the river to City centre. Lovely cathedral,,,smashing food,,black pudding served with roast peppers is a local speciality,,,lovely. Safe driving.BUSBY.

Second vote for this site - nice walk through the park into the town. Lovely spanish town with a large palace.

Thanks @Brisey, @hilldweller, @MikeD and @busby I'd earmarked the ACSI site south of Madrid, it's a good distance for a first stop with the Aire at Burgos a good second days drive before Bilbao next morning.
