M25 closures August and September 2013 (1 Viewer)

The M25 will be shut on four separate occasions, this month, as the road is upgraded.

On August 17 to 18 and 20 to 21, the clockwise carriageway will be closed between junctions 23 and 25.

Between junctions 27 and 25, on the clockwise stretch, will be closed on August 28.

On August 31until September 1 the road will be off-limits to drivers between junctions 25 and 23.

Work will take place during the week from 12am until between 10pm and 6am on weekends.

The opposite carriageway to the closure will remain open

It might just as well have been closed on Sunday. We were traveling to Teddington from Gaston. Should have been joining it at 21 and exit at 10 but that entire section was gridlocked. I used the pre M25 route and it didn't take that much longer overall. The M25 is the best road in the world when it is clear:thumb:
