Hi guys.Does any one know of a down load for garmin nuvi that allows length width etc.Bloody thing took me down unsuitable road at easter.Been told it happens often on this lane another funster had same problem.Hope you can help.

if a road looks dodgy then dont go down it....your sat nav will reroute.

Not aware of any general downloads for the basic range, but there is a Nüvi designed specifically for truckers - the 465T. It may not have avoidances for some European countries, but does have them for UK.

Just bought a Garmin Nuvi 465T. I have entered by motorhome size/ weight and am off tomorrow. The route I am taking I have travelled several times and my previous Garmin always wants to take me down a narrow road that I need to avoid. Will be interesting to see if this model now avoids that road.
Will post the result. Watch this space.
