Stayed at this C&CC CS last Wednesday night. It's alongside a garden centre with very friendly staff and a lovely setting. £8 per night or £10 with electricity. In addition to fresh water and dump point there is small building with veg prep sink, toilet and shower (concrete rather than tiled but free and perfectly adequate). There is also a mill heritage site next door but we didn't have time to explore it.
Ideal for walking/cycling as it is close to the Trans-Pennine trail. Also, buses to Glossop or Hyde from the main road. The railway station (trains to Manchester or Glossop/Hadfield) is only a few minutes walk away.
Nice pub (Cheshire Cheese) on the main road.
