My only complaint about my Newstar is the position of my right foot and the throttle pedal. My foot is pushed right back and after a time this is causing some serious pain.

Does anyone have an idea as to how I can relieve the pressure on my ankle.

I thought about screwing a wooden block into the fllor to raise my heel height and therefore lower the angle??

    Many thanks

    Derek

Hi there, I used to have a Lunar Newstar 58 but didn't find the throttle position any different. It is slightly higher than on my new Van but not a lot in it.

Ah - I see that ChrisBoyo got there before me - something a bit thicker under the carpet is a possible solution - you can experiment until it feels ok

Alright, high heels and blue surgical stockings.

Not forgetting the suspender belt so you don't end up like Norah Batty.

Go to a scrap yard, and find a mercedes. Take the pedal cover off your truck, and bolt/screw the merc pedal cover to the floor, a clip secures it to the pedal arm. You then have a throttle pedal that sits on the floor.

Look for a 'pedal pad' online to have a browse at them, but buy one from a scrappy for a couple of quid to ensure you can adapt to fit.
