Afternoon all,im pondering,cant remap the engine ive been informed,its to old,Rang a company today who specialise in doin Diesels,he quoted me 1500pnds to fit it.Im not going to be doin excessive:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb: amounts of mileage,so it would take a long time to get it back.Some constructive views would be appreciated.Thank you....THE BANDIT.:thumb:

Diesels with LPG are not worthwhile. They basically run the engine at it's maximum contamination limit of petrol in laymans terms, although a gas version.

You may experience a little difference in power off the mark, but costs and damage risk are not really worthwhile in reality.

If it is performance that is bothering you, a good diesel specialist can wind your pump up to give you a little more power, but obviously that would impact on fuel consumption.

If it is economy, an older engine lends itself to biodiesel alternatives very nicely, should that be a path you would want to take to save fuel costs.

looking at if its going to cost £1500 thats a hell of a lot of miles even at £1.43 per litre and 25 miles to the gallon its 5776.16 miles

In the past I have driven trucks with LPG conversions always ran like pigs when on LPG.
