hi
at the moment my wife and i run a fifth wheel with a dodge cummins , we are thinking about going back to a motorhome does anyone have a n idea what sort of mpg figures of an 8.1 chevy running on lpg

Clive you won't anymore miles per gallon than you get now running on petrol........it's just that LPG is cheaper to buy so it appears your getting more miles for your money
My Winnebago did about 12 - 14 to the gallon on petrol so on LPG at approx half the price I equated it to 20 - 25 mpg

I am getting 8 mpg with better to come with a tune with the 1996 Ford F460 7.5 V8 on a 34 footer:thumb:

The chevy engine you quote should be better

Hi I get about 7mpg on LPG and 9.5mpg on petrol, you won't get the same mpg on LPG as its got less power in it. Anywhere between 10-25% less depending on the conversion.
