OK, I'm now in a bit of a tizz!

We're due to travel by Eurotunnel tomorrow, I know that the fixed tank & spare bottle are OK but just noticed that they must be no more than 80% full. When we last used the van we were getting low so topped up ready for our next trip!!

Will being full be an issue and if yes does anybody have any ideas??

Help!

Ah! so the people that check should realise that as well?

Why don't they make it clearer in the rules!

Mad panic as we're showing full.

They aren't usually interested in the amount of gas you have, only that its turned off at the main tap when you board the shuttle
They will want to physically check and they will probably do this just after you go through passport control, unless they have changed it recently.
Mind you, our gas taps are inside, as well as two dogs. They only occasionally go into the van to check!

If you have a system installed that is designed for a motorhome all tanks and bottles should not be able to be filled past 80%. Its the makeshift ie the brass fillers that you can sometimes buy on ebay etc that you can overfill. Never had a problem with the Tunnel, they just asked to come in switched cooker on saw it would not light no problem.

Came back to Spain through the Tunnel last week, we were just asked the question 'Is your gas turned off', when told 'yes' we were just waved through - just like every other time we have used the tunnel. Never had it checked, perhaps we just look honest!:)
