Over the last couple of days I have been doing odd jobs to the van, checking lights, batteries, tyres and so on, even took everything out of the garage. While the garage was empty I could get to the lpg tanks one being 60lts and the other 30lts. When I fill up I just keep going until the pump auto stops and the tanks are full. Both tanks have auto cut out when at 80% the larger tank is the one I use all the time and the smaller one as reserve. Well the 60l tank was showing about 50% but the other on was right off the scale! Past 100%. So thought at first that the gauge was stuck but found that it was completely full. This is not good as can lead to the tank pushing liquid lpg to the regulator and damaging it and also over pressurizing the system which could course a fire. So I have let gas out of the over full tank to get it below the 80% level and will refill to see if the auto cut out is still working or not. So it was a good job the problem was found while the tank was not in use.
