We need to lower both the cab seats in our fiat Ducato 2003 motorhome,

There are 2 issues
legs start to ache about 1hr into a journey as the seat is 2 high, i can resolve this issue by increasing the floor height very easy to do.
2nd issue is that the passenger is so high that when it rains they cannot see out of the front screen as they are 2 high. this cannot be resolved by increasing the floor height.

The only way to resolve, i believe is to fit lower seat boxes, i have found these at marcle leisure, but they are £130 each :Eeek::Eeek:

Any one know were i can get them at a better price. :thumb::thumb:

Be very carefull as you are changing the van from its original manufactured specification and in the case of an accident you could possibly end up uninsured.

Seat anchorage points and mountings have to be aproved just like seat belt anchorage points.

I would check with your insurance company before you do anything

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Might be worth trying a commercial breakers yard, bound to be a few old vans out there with the lower seat boxes.
