I now this has done the rounds but after just going away i thought it would be good to have a microwave in the van, we have been having a long debate on which way to go, get a cheapy from tescos £30 or a bit more and get a low wattage one so we dont blow the fuse on camp sites ie 500 watt this will get mixed replys but i would like to now what you all think..

In our last van we got a cheap 700w models from Argos new van has one fitted still just 700w. We never had any problems with tripping the electric, just be sensible as to what appliances you run at one time. Remember that at start up a 700w oven could draw as much as 1400w momentarily, so aprox 6.1 amp (I think)
