Princes Way

Princes Way will be closed to traffic between Queens Promenade and Anchorsholme Lane West from the 26 May 2014 for approximately 18 months to enable sea defence construction and associated highway works.

Additional parking restrictions will also be introduced;

Traffic travelling northbound will use Queens Promenade – Fleetwood Road, and traffic travelling southbound will use Princes Way – Anchorsholme Lane West – Kelso Avenue

The temporary restrictions that relate to movement are as follows:-
One Way

Princes Way. Direction – north to south between Anchorsholme Lane West and Kingsway.

Road Closure

Princes Way - between its junctions with Anchorsholme Lane West and Queens Promenade.
Anchorsholme Lane West – west bound carriageway between its junction with Huntingdon Road and Princes Way.
Huntingdon Road – full closure for 1m from its junction with Kingsway. (This prevents southbound traffic leaving Cleveleys cutting through the residential area.)

That certainly restricts parking at the north end of Blackpool Council area but there are already overnight camping restrictions there. Cleveleys is in the Wyre Council area and there is nothing on their web site (that I can see) about similar closures.

2 years with a campervan; saw the light, now mortorhome newbie
Go further down to St Annes as there is on street parking along large sections of the promenade that end with no yellow lines, so depending on size of camper people could park there. :winky:

We can also point you to quiet roads where parking would be ok too !

Hope it helps
