Try insure&go we have annual travel insurance with them, don't think they specify the length of trip. Ours is £93 this year. That is for both of us.

Praying is good my son, put behind you the cheap alcohol and rich foods of the decadent Mediterranean countries and eat a simple diet of bread and water, he will look after you, he will be all the insurance you need.

In touch by phone Over 66 they will insure for only 31 days possibly 60 days that is without
reference to any medical conditions as I am 72 with atrial fib I would have no chance with them

Yes I would be very interested in the Insure and Go quotations ............I am sure they will specify a maximum length of trip somewhere in the small print.

But a supplementary question........in the event of a claim, how do they go about proving you have been away 6 months, rather than just set off last week. Are you supposed to keep ferry tickets ...................are they able to check with ferry companies or even passport control.

Try justtravelcover.com. We got a very good price for 5 month cover with a couple of medical conditions. They specialise in cover for medical conditions and they seem to get lots of positive reviews.
