Chateau was very disappointing - just an old empty building - just not at all interesting (daresay we're spoiled, I think I was expecting a French NT type presentation and there's never anything to explain anything or about anyone who happened to live there) There are no grounds to speak of, just about 50 yards around the building. The village is TINY and appears to consist only of expensive art galleries and eateries- no sign of a bakers or any shops for 'normal' people.
Had the buildings not had some age - you'd think they'd plonked what was there, down, to cater only for rich visitors, no other purposes catered for whatever. Really odd !
