Just been reading about the fab xmas markrt starting on thursday in Lincoln and am wandering about overnighting in the Lawn or Tenterton Street car parks on Saturday night..
Has anyone used these recently?What were their experiences.?

You won't be able to use The Lawn as it is used as part of the market. Whether you will be able to get in at Tentercroft Street is open to question because the place gets pretty busy as one would imagine.

When we went 3 years ago we used the CC site at Cromwell on the A1 near Newark, drove to the P&R at the Showground from there and went into the city by bus, pretty easy journey.

Although we only live 15 mile from lincoln we have never managed to get to the Christmas Market, we understand that it's gets very busy with a one way system around the stalls and parking is difficult. I would certainly consider a nearby campsite but there are very few open around Lincoln at this time of year.
