Rita and I too would like to pass on out thanks to Paul & Nikki, and Bryan & Suzy for their efforts this weekend, and to all those who baked some smashing goodies for Saturday morning's wee "soiree". :thumb:

It is such a shame about the cold and windy weather, as it deters folks from sitting out and socialising.

Sorry that we didn't get a chance to say cheerio to everyone, but with the weather on the change, we shot off before it rained with the risk of getting stuck.

Cheers for now,

Jock & Rita.

Well we have just arrived back. No kids this weekend and a little glimpse in to the future. Im so lucky to have such a great wife and great friends. Sorry she was a bit busy being sick last night to do breakfast this morning but looks like a little bit of a bug going around.

The funsters are such a nice friendly fun bunch that Marshalling an event for you all is not only a pleasure but really simple.
There was quite a contingent from the north east so thanks Mrs Tick for the geordie translation book. :thumb:
We had a really good time and now you all know I dance bettter than I sing:winky:

Shame about the weather being so cold but in general yesterdays cakes was done in gorgeous sunshine like I promised.

Thanks again everyone and I will be bowing out for 10 months or so now, and truly mean that  I will be deleting MHFun from my favourites to resist the temptation as I get down to some seriously hard work.

I have even toyed with the idea of selling the van for a little while and getting something next year but Nikki seems keen on keeping me going and holding on to the van. I fully suspect that nothing will happen and I will still log on to keep in touch.

So keep the faith, remain happy, and keep funstering (tm haganap) and see you all next year some time.

ok ok ok, maybe a new year meet or a skiing meet in February, but if I fail this course you all owe me big time :shout:

some special thanks to Red Sonja and Kev for allowing jaygee a good look around your new van in true funster fashion. To Jeff for being so understanding with my girls little dispute with your boy,:Blush::Blush: To Scran for the loan of your kettle, see next thread :Blush: and to Bryan and Suzy for helping out and the loan of the tea urn.

So see you all soon funsters.,,,, keep it ging Jim, it works great :thumb:

Big thank you to everyone who organised this meet. Sorry didn't get to see everybody as the cold weather made it a snuggle up in van with hot mug of tea and good book weekend most of the time.... but big big thank you to those that made it special.

Lesley for her company and kindness that moved me to tears at one point in the Cathedral, Kath and Howie for getting me drunk :RollEyes:, Ray for the radio, Steph and Ken for their wonderful friendship that I value so much, Dixon and Barbara who are such helpful, lovely people and for babysitting Sasha for me, Graham and Jill for the recommendation of superb restaurant, and oooh the list goes on and on and on.... Lovely weekend, thank you all.

Photos to follow tomorrow on the Gallery but not many as the wind put them out of focus ... that's my excuse anyway.:Doh:

Even though I left a day early (stupid me again thinking today was Monday:Doh:) had a blast.

Gutted missing the cake morning especially the delwood carrot cake now famous (Dick insists it his recipe though) as recovering from the night before:RollEyes:

To Marshalls Bryan (brains) and the one and only Suzy & off course not forgetting the famous Haggers duo Nickki and Paul:thumb:

Really luv my new scooter too:Blush::Blush:saw parts of the show I never get to see as blooming legs and feet generally ache so used to come back early and missing things:Angry:

Even didn't spend much at the show £5 on a really great LED torch but the bar bill was another story $$$$

Thanks all for another great funster meet,

May I add our thanks to the list, to everyone whose names I've mostly already forgotten for welcoming me (Rob) and Lis (pronounced Liz) to the Saturday morning get together.

A couple of names I do remember were Bill, but he were from oop north and I didn't have the dictionary, and Roy and Doreen who were very helpful on all things motorhomewise. We never got to return for their address 'cos the rain came down but perhaps I will pm them if someone will remind me of their FUN name. Oh, and we spent too much and have got nowhere to put it all!

Thanks Nikki for marshalling us in when we arrived. Paul had gone walkabout (Probably trying to sneak Pappa John in at the time).

Cakes were lovely managed to restrain myself with just a pice of Lemon Drizzle (lovely) and carrot cake (yummie yummie) and a lovely biscuit made I believe by Nikkie.

Had a good weekend even though it was cold and raining - got my funster discount at Aten lighting as well.. The enertainment in the tent on the Saturday night was superb - Paul and Nikkis dancing wasnt bad either :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Anyway hope to see you all soon.

Thanks to Rick and Rosie for allowing us to spend a peaceful evening in there RV, Plus thanks for the previous evening playing moving chairs from hall to hall to be able to talk.. some hopes. But had a good weekend with our new friends.

Ezzie says thanks to all that made a fuss of her.. she loved it.

To Joy for passing a message on from Maggie that had come from Landy Lover ... poney express service.

Thanks to Duncan of Star Spangled Spanner for fulfilling my RV needs thios weekend.. without the traders who make the effort it would be not good..so Thanks to Duncan from the American RV people that you supplied.

And thank you all for taking bits out the of the box... lots now gone, and a special thanks to everyone we met for the first time and others we have meet before, good to see you all.

And whatabout the red arrows? boy free to air? if you follow me.

Thanks to Paul, Nikki, Brian and Suzi for organising a great weekend. Shame about the weather but that did not stop the enjoyment and meeting friends old and new.

Special thanks must go to Steve (Ash) and Lynn - sorry we took him away from you yesterday afternoon - for fitting our new solar panel. First class workmanship and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is considering getting a solar panel fitted.

We managed off the field this morning although the mh took on a camoflage look with the mud splashes. The weather was rain, rain, rain all the way home and just as we were pulling in for a pit stop just short of Scots Corner we were passed by Delwood.

Hope to see you all in the future and keep up the fun.

Kath & Howie

Our thanks to Bryan & Suzy, Paul & Nikki for marshalling the meet and organising the coffee morning.
Despite the inclement weather, being surrounded by the Nutters and having to listen to their insane ramblings all weekend, we had a great time.
Thanks also to Mark (C.L.S.) for carrying out our annual habitation check.
