Good afternoon all. As you may have guessed from the title, I pick up my first m/h tomorrow. It's been a dream of mine for a while now and it is finally happening.
Needless to say, we are staying out in it tomorrow night and have already got a trip planned for Easter. I am sure I will have loads of questions for you all by Monday so excuse the stupid ones, and please be gentle with me!

Compass Avantgarde 145 (2009) It had the right layout for us, reasonably low mileage and in great nick.

Hello and welcome from a fellow newbie. This might be a silly question but we have an Eldiss Autoquest 145 and looking at the pictures of the Compass Avantgarde 145 it is exactly the same even down to the upholstery - am I stating the obvious here or are they different manufacturers!

@M & M Yes, they are virtually the same as your 145. A bit of badge engineering is the only difference. Elddis make a range of caravans called Compass, Buccaneer, etc and their own brand name. Guess this was the same in the Motorhome era.

Virtually same just different marque. We had an Avantgarde 400 from new, lovely van.

When you pick up your n take a note book and camera. Ask them to repeat anything you need to see again. I got the people we bought ours from to show me how to take out and replace the cassette three times!

Welcome from the Isle of Wight, I remember our first m/h & how exciting it was, we had borrowed & hired m/h's before, so decided to try to selfbuild our 1st, did a so/so job on it but soon needed a better one, now on our 10th, it's addictive ( a bit like this website FUN)
