That's the one guys ,it's by the river Nith ,about 4 miles from Dumfries ,well worth a visit , there's are toilets and water available ,plus a pub just across the road ,there is an honesty box for donations towards the up keep of the parking area

Not a mini meet, Matt is 4 miles from my house so popped down to see him last night. He was parked next to another Funster though so maybe they were having a meet and didn't invite me

Yes it was good to meet Gerry and his wife yesterday ,we also met Bob and Karen another couple of funsters ,there are two other Moho's here tonight not sure if either are funsters or not

£16.25 for a 16oz rump steak at the hotel across the road it was very tasty ,I'll need to cycle lots to burn that off

Thank you for that - one of my Dads favour phases he used on holiday and once he retired was - it's a hard life- usually sat somewhere in the sunshine relaxing. Cheered me up no end. x

Their steaks are normally top notch and decent price, this mainly due to the fact they also own Galloway Butchers which supply's most of the pubs, hotels and restaurants in Dumfries
