    Day 5 Preston to Carlisle 98 miles average 15.1 mph

    Day 6 Carlisle to Kilmarnock 89.5 miles average 15.9 moh.


    Two good days. No rain!!


    Phone recovering in bag of rice!! :thumb:
    Tomorrow 70 miles to Cairndow. Looks as if it could be wet though.

    Today was a shorter day 68.87 miles av speed 17.1mph Not too many bumps today!!

    They went from Kilmarnock to Cairngow passing through some stunning scenery. Unfortunately they couldn't see much of it through the rain and mist :Doh:

    Day 8 tomorrow Cairndow to Spean Bridge.

    He did it!!

    Tim and his cycling buddy,Bill arrived in John O'Groats at 15.55 on Sunday!! :thumb:

    It took them 10 days. More info to come when he has downloaded the stats from his Garmin( for those who are interested!!:RollEyes:)

    Took us a while to get round to doing this but have at last downloaded the data from Tim's Garmin!! :Doh:

    So the total mileage over the 10 days was 898.83.
    Average speed 15.25mph
    They climbed 46,011ft
    And descended 46,560ft
    And they burned 51,165 calories :Eeek:

    Believe it or not he's talking about doing it again!! :RollEyes:
