After spending quiet a lot of time I eventually found that I already had this cover provided by my membership of the Guild of Experienced Motorists (GEM) it comes free with membership at £17.10 per year. Accident Management Service
They also offer a very competitive and comprehensive UK breakdown service for vehicles up to 3500kg, but you don't need to take this, you can do as i have done and only purchased the membership as my motorhome is 4000kg.

This once a year payment has saved me £32.90 as i would have had to purchase 2 Legal Protection insurances one for my car insurance and the other for my motorhome, each at £25 x2 = £50 - £17.10 saved £32.90 , so it really is worth checking around.
