Hi Folks
we have fiamm top box that is showing signs of water ingress around the supporting bolts which appear to be corroded. Has anyone else had and cured a similar problem ? the van is quite elderly and so is the top box. In fact its owners are no spring chickens either . It would cause no problem as we only have the bbq and charcoal up there at the moment thanks for reading my post. Naughty Nigel and the happy traveller

Two options, 1 is prefered, 2 is a bodge.

1)it would appear to be time to replace and reseal the bolts, try stainless steel, they will not rust again,

2)otherwise drill a drain hole in each corner of the box to allow water to drain away and cover the bolts with sealent to prevent further rusting.
