We had a leak on our roof light so out came the ladder to check the sealant around the roof light which looked ok but i thought i would run some sealant around just to be safe but the next time it rained in came the water again.
So out came the ladder again to check the roof for any cracks or damage but found nothing it was only when i was checking the sealant again that i noticed one of the brackets in the roof light that holds the stays was loose when i took it off it was wet underneath so i cleaned it put it back and tightened it.
Well it poured down today and no leak
What was happening was the rain was getting in under this bracket and falling down into the ventilation grill on the roof light and into the motorhome.
