Looking for an awning/canopy for my LDV conversion, any recommendations?
Well it all depends on what kind of awning track (if any) you have on your van?
I before starting diymotorhoming I had owned 2 thriving/exclusive small caravan sites over in France and saw heaven knows what as awnings/canpoies attached or flapping in the breeze attached/I wish to the motorhomes or conversions they were supposed to be attached to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the glib comment made above, but arguably the best compromise is to have a stand alone gazeebo's such as one of these http://www.gardensandhomesdirect.co...ssories.html?gclid=COj1mYLt8ssCFU4o0wodCqoNVg then if you do use one of these or similar, then you have the advantage of being able to set up what looks like a proper awning with zip in sides and the added advantage that you can leave it in place on a pitch on a caravan site whilst you go hither and thither in your van.
Adam, if you didn't already know, we have just set up the new and FREE http://www.diymotorhome.co.uk/community/ so why not come along and join us and be one of those who can share your experiences etc.
All the best
Depends on what you mean by awning, a fixed wind out fiamma
or an annexe/tent?
Thanks,I think a drive away is best for me.
Thanks Phil I have just signed up.
