Unfortunately the reliability records show that they fail too often, usually after the warranty has expired. Shame really as they are pretty nice laptops.

Glad to hear yours is one of the positive experiences though.

Odd how peoples experiences differ... I would put Toshiba (Toughbook) and Dell (Latitude or Inspiron) above the likes of HP. I would put Asus and Lenova ahead of Acer and Samsung. But, hey, most makes are reasonably good these days and all of them can produce the "Friday" disaster!
If you are going for small portable business then have a look at the Asus Tablet machines. They have the advantage of being more meeting friendly because you don't have to erect the screen barrier and they make good clipboards.
If you want to handle DTP and photos, then screen resolution becomes more important. Here Dell really rule the roost... But they aren't 10".
BTW, most notebooks are nearly up to yesterday's laptops but without the built-in DVD.
