Are there any wild camp spots near Lands End. We intend going to see the fireworks there in a few weeks time and depending when they finish it may be too late to get back on site.

We stayed on a council run car park at Long Rock, between Penzance and Marazion this weekend. 24 hours parking is £5.70. Lovely view of St Michaels Mount, and right by the sea. Trucks use it too. There is a pub onsite, and a cafe during the day. It is on the bus route for Penzance. There is also parking on the jetty in Marazion which is £10 but we were too big to get in there.

Hope this helps.

There are fireworks every Tuesday and Thursday at dusk throughout the summer. More details can be found on the Lands End website.

Camping Caravaning now 5'ering 49 years
You often find wild campers on side roads near there - I have heard they are cracking down on wild camping in Cornwall so you may get moved on -There are a couple of good campsites at Sennen Cove and Lands End is and easy stroll from there - we have done it a number of times.

Hi all, I live near here and fancied an overnight stay at the Long rock/Marazion car park, yes £5.70 for 24 hours but the sign shows a no camping sign ?????? How does that work, will contact the local council and clarify as this is a great spot.

No camping means just that.....no camping.
