Lake Maggiore ~ which campsite? (1 Viewer)

Well, we decided for our September short break to head to Lake Maggiore rather than Garda. First it is closer to us, second not so many visit it, and third Mr Hilldweller thinks so well of it.

Mr Hilldweller also recommended a small camp site in Cannero Riviera and can see why, but this may take us too far away from the main section of the lake, and we only have a few days there.

So are there any other recommendations for camp sites along Lake Maggiore?

camping Solcio, we stayed there easter 2012. pitches right on the edge of the lake,it has its own restaurant on site. there is a good small supermarket near the entrance. Accepts ACSI card.:thumb:
