Thinking of going to Lac du Der at the end of May. Has anyone been, there seem plenty of camp sites in the area any recomendations or ones to avoid.

    Hi Andy
I've never been there but I saw a post on here a couple of months ago that prompted me to look it up on tinternet and It certainly looks a most impressive area, I'm not going to France this year but it's on my list of must see places, be sure to let us know what your findings are.

Have a look on a carp-fishing forum, you'll find somebody who has been there!

    Has BarryD been?

    Andy,
We were there last year it is a beautiful spot with good aires, there is plenty to see and plenty to do and if the weather is good, which last year in May it was not, plenty of places to chill out and enjoy the sunshine and the scenery.
I will try and post some pics for you. (Sorry last pic is not Lacdu Der)

We have stayed there 3 times overnight on the Aire. Excellent place, would recommend it.
