Just ordered and paid online from above tyre company. 4 Michelin agilis camping tyres to be fitted at my house .£410 inclusive.. I think that's a great price but I am sure knowing how these threads go someone will have a better deal. Lol. Sitting back and waiting .Roy

I have used Kwik fit for many years never had a problem with their prices .nearly always cheaper or very near . National tyres are the ones I almost tried till I saw all the additional costs .made each tyre £40 dearer than Kwik fit.

I got a similar deal in January. Very pleasant, professional fitter.
On our previous van we had Tyron bands and, subsequently, a set of tyres, fitted by Kwik Fit Mobile and both were very good.

I've had dubious service from Kwik Fit depots in the past (quite a few years ago) but can't fault my three experiences of their mobile service and prices.

Yes I could have got van tyres very cheap as well but I wanted the proper ones for motorhome.

I recently had 2 continental vanco camper tyres fitted. Supplied by Asda and fitted at a local garage for £112 each. Kwik fit were cheaper but were further to travel so it was more or less the same. I did enquire about the fitting of new metal valves but they did not have any and were not prepared to source any either. I bought 2 bolt on valves off E bay for £5 each. I have tyre pal sensors fitted and the valves were about 5mm shorter in the metal screw on part but the sensors refitted ok. I had contacted a number of garages and not one had any metal valves.
Just a note on Kwik Fit. In the fitted price list they charge £4.50 for a standard rubber valve. If you supply the metal valves ask if they will reduce the price by the same amount.

(1) they will be fitted at home , (2) i don't have to drive anywhere to have them fitted .(3) the price was good .(4) I wanted camper tyres not van tyres .(5) Michelin agilis tyres are not as noisy as van tyres on my motorhome. .(6) always had good service from Kwik fit . (7) don't need extreme grip tyres as not used in those conditions.. ..Roy

@Khizzie Can you confirm what size these tyres are please ? I have just gone onto KwikFits webpage and it's showing £165 each x 4 = £660 for 225 75 16 CP tyres... I'd order a couple an stick them in the garage if I can get 2 for £205 !!!

Mine are the same size and they've actually gone down in price a bit. I just checked and I paid £435.92 in January.

Have to disagree with this. My Michelins are quieter and have brilliant grip compared with my previous Continentals

thats a hell of a price i had a quick look on fleabay they appear to be about 100 each ie 600 for 6,unless im looking at the wrong tyre spec where were they from John,if you dont mind my asking£
