Does anyone know what the maximum awning rail height is for a Khyam Motordome excelsior. I tried to fit mine to the Autotrail Apache at the weekend and the awning rail seemed to be about 18" to high. Tried the Khyam web site but no info available.

Go to your caravan dealer and ask for a length of J rail and cut it at thelength you require.use the fig of 8 plastic as a guide for length
Fix it with doublesided tape first,then you can fix it with self tapping screws.measure in 6 ins from the end and then find the center and work from there. Ours sits over the door and it looks ok.Also it diverts the rain away from the doorway when the dome is not in use.Hope this is of some help.more info or help e-mail jbedbug@sky.com
