We bought the motorhome with a kenwood DNX450TR audio/GPS system fitted and on the GPS part is an icon for MHF (motor home Fun) and ACSI these will display camping sites.

I cannot work out how they were installed anyone have an idea ?

Those two do come pre-installed on some Satnavs. I don't think the 'F' in MHF is for 'Fun', though.

Getting better month by month.
I have the same unit and yes, they are pre-installed and updated with the map updates.

Sadly the great idea campsite database for MHF members was sold off behind members backs but even when active it was never maintained so many of the "sites" loaded had incorrect co-ords or were shut down years ago.
Don't rely on those entries.

Do the Kenwood units not use Garmin for the satnav functionality? If so. I guess it' maybe similar to the Garmin Camper units, which came with the campsite POI file from the dark side ("facts").

I have a Garmin Camper which also has the MHF and Acsi Poi's loaded. They suddenly disappeared from the unit and in order to reinstall them I had to reload the Map. They are not individually loaded POI files.
