Hi, I have the above radio/satnav in my motorhome, harming mals. It has just said it needs updating. Having just purchased van I did not realise it was out of date. Does anyone know where I can get maps for Europe and firmware updated at a reasonable cost. I have been advised a cost of 160.00 which I find very expensive. Any help appreciated

You may find you get free updates for so many years when you bought and registered the unit. I did with the 450tr that I bought with the MH last year. If you do simply follow the instructions and all should be well. You may need a micro sd card to do this though but it should tell you.

Thanks, but no free updates, it also says no updates on kenwood, so not sure what to do, do I pay 160.00 and hope it works?

If the kenwood update programme says no update, then wait until there is and then you can make a judgement call. Is the £160 for life? If so how long will you actually have it to get the benefit. My free updates are for 3 years then payable after that. My nuvi in the car hasn't been updated for about 5 + years and it still gets me where I need to go door to door.

Try Total GPS should be able to provide an update disc or card for around £50
