    What’s it all about…

Come and join us for a weekend of trade, entertainment and activities in the sunshine as the UK Summer Motorhome & Caravan Show makes a welcome return to Kent Showground on the weekend of June 4-5.

Campers and day visitors can explore more than 100 traders showcasing a range of motorhomes, caravans and camper vans – as well as accessories and consumables – as thousands come in search of the great deals on offer.

Daytime music will provide entertainment throughout, with a mix of catering options available including a campsite shop and a ‘made-in-front-you’ ice cream stall.

And with the venue set among woodland, there are plenty of picturesque walks available from the site too.

For campers, free-to-enter cash-prize bingo is being introduced on top of coach trips into the nearby historic town of Rochester and professional dancing lessons.

    _________

For campers | £45 in advance
Pitches are available for tents, caravans or motorhomes of all sizes, including American RVs. Accessible areas are available too, and all camping plots are suitable for individuals and small groups. Friendly and experienced event staff will be on hand when you arrive to escort you to your pitch.

There will be a variety of offers and activities exclusive to campers running throughout the duration of the event.

Are you a club member? | If you’re interested in holding a club rally and camping with your fellow members, contact Richard Sinclair on 01507 529593.

Accessible pitch with electric | There are a limited number of accessible camping pitches available which have an electric hook-up. Call 01507 529529 to discuss availability.

    _________

    Evening Entertainment
An exciting line-up of entertainment, sponsored by Park Resorts, will be running on both Friday and Saturday evenings, exclusive to campers.

    FRIDAY NIGHT
    [IMG]Funky Monkey |
One of the best party bands in the UK will fill the dance floor with high energy performances of some the greatest hits ever made. Members have played on Top of the Pops and X-Factor as well as performing at Glastonbury, Reading and T In The Park.

[IMG]Jed Stone | Comedian Jed has appeared on TV and radio many times including, in the past, My Kinda People with Michael Barrymore and Pot Of Gold with Des O’Connor. An infectious energy and enthusiasm combined with lightning-quick ad libs and topical material will ensure plenty of laughs from one of the most sought after funny-men in the country.

[IMG]Navi | Universally recognised as “the world’s number one Michael Jackson impersonator”, no one has come close to achieving what Navi has accomplished. He is the only MJ impersonator to ever be invited to perform for the man himself and drew a standing ovation from the King of Pop. The two became friends after and Navi regularly acted as a body double/decoy to distract fans and press when Michael visited the UK. Along with his incredible live band and dancers, Navi is currently touring theatres and arenas across the world and will make a stop in Kent to take show visitors closer to a Jackson concert than they ever imagined possible. Featuring such hits as Smooth Criminal, Beat It, Billie Jean, Black or White, Man in the Mirror and some Jackson 5 classics, Navi’s show is one you will not forget.

    SATURDAY NIGHT
    [IMG]Funky Monkey |
One of the best party bands in the UK will fill the dance floor with high energy performances of some the greatest hits ever made. Members have played on Top of the Pops and X-Factor as well as performing at Glastonbury, Reading and T In The Park.

[IMG]Chris Britten | Known as Mr Versatility, comedian Chris has a reputation as one of the best on the circuit. With many years and plenty of laughs under his belt working in theatres, hotels, cruise ships, holiday resorts and other functions, he’ll be bringing his quality stand-up routine to Kent for the summer show.

[IMG]Marty Wilde and the Wildcats | 1950s heart-throb Marty was one of the first Brit acts to embrace the new rock ’n’ roll wave which was sweeping across the USA. At the end of the decade he was a leading name in the genre in the UK along with Tommy Steele and Cliff Richard, before going on to enjoy a varied career in music, on stage and in film. In the 1980s he helped mastermind a string of pop hits for daughter Kim including Kids in America. Marty has embarked on a number of nostalgia tours this century, and in 2014 showed the age is no barrier as he kicked off a 33-date run. Along with The Wildcats, Marty will transport Kent showgoers back to glory days of rock ’n’ roll performing some of his biggest hits which include Endless Sleep, Donna and A Teenager in Love.

    _________

For day visitors | £5 in advance
Both the inside halls and large outside spaces will feature trade and dealer stands, with everything on offer from motorhomes, caravans and camper vans through to accessories, consumables and services.

Several catering options will be available including hot food, snacks from the campsite shop and picnic areas to enjoy the summer sun.

Car parking at the venue is FREE, and dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.

If I go It will by car as the new van will not be finished by then , I might just drop in to the Funsters and see if I know anybody.
Nobody knows me as I creep around in the dark at rallies with no badge in case they recognise the name and beat me up.
The avatar has been taken off the back of the van as she goes in the morning, and nobody else can use it now.

It was around the back of the site through the main car park and keep left through the trees and turn left. It might change but there are a load of guides to take you over

we need to use the main entrance off the A249 and then their stewards will direct you around to gate 4 where tickets will be checked and if the same as last year, they'll then escort you to the mhf area where brisey and pamelaar will get us settled in :)

don't worry, you can't get lost but coming from sheppey and me from off the M2, we'll have to go down to the big roundabout at the bottom of detling hill and back up again..

Many thanks. My first rally in 20plus years, and not sure what to expect. Hope to meet up with every one and not placed too far away from other dumpsters.
