It is my business when a chairman of a select committee working on behalf of UK government lays himself open to blackmail and influence and fails to declare an interest which should preclude his chairmanship and membership through his lifestyle and possible criminal activity which has been alleged and if true displays a lack of personal judgement.

A persons sexuality is nothing to do with anyone else and should not affect their professional career but there is a big difference betrween being in a settled relationship whether gay or straight and putting oneself in a vulnerable position by using the services of prostitutes who may not be the most reliable consorts. I don't know if you are saying that those who criticise Mr Vaz are righteous because they do so or because they take a different view to you. I supose high horses do come into the equation since Mr Vaz appears to have fallen from his straight into the s..t. Allegedly, and talking about righteous, he certainly was a prime example. As for his conduct being my business. It is when a public figure who sets himself up as a paragon of virtue to pronounce upon the doings of parliament and people in power falls far below the standard the public are entitled to expect.
