Kampa Motor Rally Air Puzzle (1 Viewer)

Purchased a new Kampa Motor Rally Air 390L from a proper dealer.

Put it up the first time and it seems too tall for the height of the awning track.

Checked the spec, and the 390L is the right one.

Looked at my invoice it's for a 390L

Checked the box it was delivered in also says 390L

The carry bag is labelled 390L

Scratched head for a bit then noticed label on the side of the awning itself.......

390XL !!!!

Bugger.

Looks like you are not alone... this one is too small ..

the young man explained that the awning must be one of the early ones, where the[HI] sizes were "all over the place". [/HI]They had a number of these faulty awnings and sent them all back to Kampa.

I have informed Awnings Direct and am yet again waiting for them to reply and hopefully collect and return this to Kampa.

spoke to max lawless today we have a 390 l that is to short for my mh set it up newbury show they say its will fit a awning rail from 245 to 260 the rail on my mh is 250 from the ground we did not use our ramps if we had the bottom skirt would not be on the ground if we exchange awnings he will pay the cost ray :thumb:

It is being collected Wednesday by the supplier which is Tent Hire Ltd of Walsall.

I am sure they would be delighted to find a home for an ex demo 390xl.
