Following diagnosis of Glaucoma in one eye and a Trabeculectomy op two years ago to permanently reduce pressure and prevent damage to the optical nerve , I dreaded the eye test for the medical for my 70 year licence renewal to keep my C1+E etc.
DVLA have had my medical and application docs and all OK but because of eye problem requested a field vision test.
I attended Specsavers today and eyesight good and from 100 dots on field test I missed JUST ONE , apparently that will be OK so I can look forward to keeping RV a bit longer
Have already had a wee dram
