A few weeks ago I answered a few questions about our Chunnel experience.

Last night got a mail
Thank you for completing the survey.
Here is a code which you enter in to your Amazon account for a £25 credit..

So I am thinking, yer, another bloody scam...

But before deleting it I did some checks.. The email was genuine and the code was good !
Now I have to figure out what to spend it on

I also had some good news this year. After completing a survey for Holland & Barrett, which I had completely forgotten about, they sent me £100 in vouchers. So, it seems that it is worthwhile completing surveys.

Wow. That's the first time I have heard of someone winning one of ghose surveys on receipts .. all I get is a load of emails advertising stuff.

We recommended my mum join First Utility and we both got £50 worth of Amazon vouchers! I think they've knocked it down to £25 each now, but it's still worth moving your gas and lekky to them anyway - we've saved £100s since we moved from one of the big companies.

I had an email from Sky offering me free broadband if I signed up for another year. Phoned Sky to see if it was a scam and they said 'yes' and not to click on anything in the email.

Did a bit more - actually a lot more - googling and found out it was for real.

£120 saved
